I may never get to put him on the wall. But I have some motivation to get in a tree, not mention following him on trail cam is almost as rewarding as the hunt. Kinda like "catch and release hunting" lol.
Acorn drop and the early fall "range shifting" will have new bucks poping up on cams for the next month. Only 16 days till the Kentucky archery opener!
First off. This is not on my property and not on my camera. I was given permission by a friend, to post this, with strict orders to not disclose the location of this animal for obvious reasons. The deer is on a mountain in East Tennessee. This is a true book deer in my book. Enjoy!
Its hard to say Logan because of velvet. But being a wide, massive, long beamed 6x6 makes me think he is a 180"+. But I could be wrong. Either way, he is a bruiser for anywhere in the country, much less E. TN.
I hope I never see one like that. If I did with my high blood pressure I would probably have a heart attack from excitement and die right there. emoRolleyes Jmax
That's a red stag. In a high-fence operation at that. And for a stag he's not that impressive, but I would not have the slightest clue how to score one especially a big one, like this. Lol
Here is a nine we have all been after at my camp but this ol'boy did not get this big being stupid. We thought he may have been killed by one of the other camps but these pictures are new. He is still there and we hope he is shacking up with a lot of our doe deer in the area. emoTongue You can put out corn and feed in Arkansas, he is eating some in the 2 lower pictures. emoThumbsup Jmax
