I decided since I did not find them yesterday till well into the morning I would go straight there this morning and try them.;) The large school of crappie minnows were still there and the first two casts under them I hooked a slab. One I got in just over a lb and the other I lost. I worked up and down the bluff and boated four more real nice ones about the same size and a drum. I fished there a couple hours total and then I moved over to a flat just off the wolf and boated a sixth nice keeper and two large bream. At about 10 I went out in front of the bridge at the wolf and the gulls are still there going crazy. I tried all out in there for an hour and didn't even get a bite. It was eleven and I decided to leave since it was starting to rain. All in all I was pleased with today's results. I caught the crappie on a red/chartruse tube at about 10 to 12 feet deep. I kept five of the crappie for supper tonight.emoHungry Jmax

Good job JMax! I too am having fish tonight .. only Salmon stuffed with Crab and Shrimp dressing, Maryland crab cakes, beans, finger potatos and fresh green beans. It's our valentine's day dinner since I probably won't be home tomorrow night.

My crappie dinner is coming though .. as soon as I get my rod fixed up .. you'll hear me shouting "It's Crappie time" from my house all the way to Chester Frost! :)

Dang TT, can I come eat with you???? Crab cakes are one of my most favorite meals. That and lobsters, just a little pricie to have often. Oh yea, also crab legs are on that same ranking.emoHungry Jmax

Good report Jmax That is Good, not great. Had you boated about two more it would have put you into the great pile. J/K

All that talk on the other thread about what's for dinner made me want some seafood, so as I said Sharkbait and I went to Chef Lin's tonight. Four plates of shrimp cooked five different ways, oysters and too much more to mention. Oh yeah -two heaping plates of properly cooked crab legs. It's TT fault that I feel like one of her dishes stuffed with crab.

Would that by chance make you CRABBY LL?

Mmmmm, Chef Lin. I get to eat there about once a year...if I'm lucky. My wife says that the place reeks. </p>
