Alright guys I'm jumping up and down! I gave it one last shot to fix my opti myself before I took it to bunch. I used the gauges to test fuel and air pressure and found that my air pressure was fine and my fuel pressure would prime up to 30 and bleed down to zero immediately. After seeing this I took the vst apart and wanted to work toward the fuel rail. I pulled the high pressure pump and found a rubber sleeve that was split. Looked for just the sleeve and couldn't find one in town so I wrapped electrical tape around the broke one just for a test and it fired up first thing. Man that was awesome. Thanks for all your help and support maybe now it's time to fish:)

Great to hear you're back up and runnin'.
Sorry that the other guy "mis-diagnosed" the problem and cost you $300. I'm guessing it's a good thing you didn't leave it with them as it'd be a large bill when he got thru replacing things that didn't need replacing. some of these so called mechanics just replace parts at your expense until they hit the right one or you run out of money.

Great job, "wet" guy! You're turning into a pretty dang good wrench man yourself. Thanks for letting us know what the problem was. Now, get'r done and go catch fish!
