2d sonar

Which brand has the best 2d sonar ? I currently have a helix 7. I am not real impressed with the sonar view. I was wondering if one of the other brands gave more detail in the sonar view .

Hmmm. My helix 10 does a very good job with 2d.

The new garmins have unreal 2D

Change your sensitivity settings and play with the color palette until you find one you're happy with. Humminbird has incredible sonar in my opinion.

I have been playing around with the settings. I guess I need to go to the lake and set aside the time to dial it in.

I probably need to do the same. My screen shows all kinds of different color globs move across the screen constantly. I thought at first it was schools of bait fish or crappie but now I'm not so sure.
