No, Gilbert didn't release it. As we speak, it's as the taxidermist.

Gilbert is a great guy. I get to see him almost every day, and he's one of the few electricians that I deliver to, that if I were to choose from a list, that I would want to work with.

Brandon, hit me up on AOL, bud.

Polo, you have got to see the Crappie mounts at the restaurants and tackle shops around Weiss Lake. It will blow your mind. Back in the day that lake gave up lots of 3-4 pound Crappie.

Wow, I do need to get down there sometime. Maybe Biofisher will take me down there sometime. That's his old stompin' grounds.

When I was a kid we would catch 2 or 3 3 pound plus crappie every year at Weiss. We could not afford to get them mounted so we either ate them or kept them alive to put into someone's pond. Weiss is like Chickamauga these days, it don't give up many fish like that anymore. You hear about them but rarely do you see them. When you do hear of them and go to see them they somehow shrink to around 2 lbs or less.

Cheez, you would be surprised what Weiss still has in it. I know of several places on Weiss where I can get a 3-4 lbs. crappie. You just have to know where to look for them, and to put the right bait in front of them.

My personal best in 3.6 from Weiss, and I have several at 3 lbs. 4 lbs., that is a rarity on Weiss these days, but there are still plenty of 3 lbers. there.
