Hard to believe it is already that time again to talk about the Action Alarm's open bass tournament. Here is the info.
This one will be a dog fight format. About 4 1/2 hours only from Safelight to 11:00, with a three fish weigh in. No live bait, no locking through, no trolling baits. No long lining. CFF rules will apply except you do NOT have to have the post count. It is open to all. $30.00 entry with $5 of that going to big bass. There will be an optional big trash fish pot of $5 also, this will be paid back to the biggest trash fish weighed in along with the $100 extra Action is putting into this pot. Out of Harrison Bay State Park. Weigh in will be at the Picnic tables on the far side over at the end of the camp grounds so we can get out of everyone's way at the ramp. Only one dead fish will be allowed with a half pound penalty, please keep your fish iced, cooled(if IT IS HOT), aerated and taken care of. The only reason I am allowing one dead is due to not wanting to see someone throw one back that has been hooked badly just to ruin and become turtle food. PLEASE keep them alive to fight another day.
Action Alarms is going to sponsor this one again with an extra $400.00 which will be divided out over 1st+$150, 2nd+$100 and 3rd+$50. Then the trash fish pot of $100. The rest of the pay out will be based on how many boats we have. 100% pay back. If we hit 30 boats I will do four places and if we hit 40 boats I will do five places.
Example would be if we had 20 boats show up the pay out would look like this.....
1st $250 + Action Alarm's $150 = $400.00
2nd $150 + Action Alarm's $100 = $250.00
3rd $100 + Action Alarm's $50 = $150.00
Big Bass 20 boats x $5 = $100.00
Trash fish pot extra $5 moneys plus $100. If all 20 boats had entered this that would be $200.00.
This is 100 percent plus pay back. Can't beat that, with three paid out it will be 50%/30%/20%. Four paid out would be 40%/30%/20%/10%. and if we had over 40 boats five places would be 30%/ 25%/ 20%/ 15% and 10%. Then again the Action Alarm money would be added for 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
