Crazzy, don't let 'em give you a hard time about catching those fish. The real pets are all those small bream that people feed their fries and hushpuppies to! Those bass are hard to catch, artificial or not. It's called fishing. You caught them. You have every right in the world to be proud of it Thanks for the post. I'm sure your heart got to pounding just the same. Good story!

Thanks! That's right... doesn't really hurt to throw a bream for a big ole bass every now and then. Well, as long as your not fishing a TX.

Congrats on the big fish! But you are an accomplished fisherman with many people on this site that read your posts, I believe youve caught bigger in a recent touney. Youve caught bigger on the "real" lake. I would focus on that for now and leave the gimmes to the youngsters. I dont even think youngsters fish there. Im not trying to burst your bubble but you know a 3 # bass from parksville trumps a 7# bass from under that little bridge.
