I thought it weighed more too just by looking at it. The fish wasnt real long, maybe 36" or so, but had a huge head. I weighed it twice with my Berkley digital and it was right at 35 both times. I'm going to bring them to work and recheck them. Thanks to you guys that have helped alot of us to have the opportunity to catch fish like this. This sharing information thing is alright. I'm taking katslayer ( my 11 year old son) Saturday morning, I would love to see him catch one like that.
