Ditto what FA said....those ole 19 footers are rockets...even with a 150 on them they will hang with or pass many boats powered with 200's! Hey FA....could you see over the front of yours when you had it up on the pad????hehehehehehe!!!!!!

redford .. yes it is . the boat had been in the family since it was new , his FIL had it then sold it to him.
i have worked with the guy for 7 years and he had been going back and forth on selling it for over a year .
i had told several times i would like to have it but just didnt have the cash but when i got the money together i would buy it .. then monday he said he had to sell it and he would put it in his yard sale sat. emoEek

after talking and negotiating with the wife all week.... ( ok it was more like whining ,sulking and such.. oh and jr helped on that part too emoBigsmile ) the "whatever" came on sat evening at which point i called him.
i will say it was a looooooooooooooooong sunday to wait through to call the bank on monday morning

nice boat and it looks to be in terrific condition. Congrats..... like others have said, watch out for chine walk, and always trim down before you let off the throttle.

that does look exactly like FA'S old bullet minus the two phone books in the drivers seat. i fished with him in that boat a few times as for walking with you that may have been just the books sliding around in his case.LOL anyhow glad for you hope you like it and PS get you some butt time before you really open her up yes FA is right that setup boat and motor will really talk to you when YOU'RE really ready be safe

I've found that playing around with the jackplate helps. Just keep an eye on your water presure. Also a few driving lessons from Paul Nicholes didn't hurt.

 You'll have many many hrs. of enjoyment out of it.

ive been talking to the previous owner a lot about it at work about its quirks and how to drive it.
on the test drive he showed me a lot of the do's and donts of this paticular bullet .
1. dont try to drive it in a straight line (chine walk) keep it pulling a little to port or starboard
2. DONT just let off the gas running on plane!!!! emoEek he did a demo of this at about 60mph
holy sweet mother of pearl!!!! how did all those squirls get under that boat in the middle or the lake!!! emoEek emoEek i'll not be doing THAT !

like any hi-po machine it takes seat time to learn its individual quirks and before i go and start changing the setup
i'll get used to it the way it is emoBigsmile

oh the one thing i did have to add to was rod holders for cat fishing
he asked why i was putting those on there and when i told him catfishing i thought he was gonna have a stroke emoLaugh
