Ok guys and gals, who wants to go hunt south africa june-july '09?? this is a serious question. this will be a relatively cheap hunt, i am working on getting figures to be more exact.
here's the deal.. a very good friend of mine has married a guy from south africa. he and his family hunt, and have land. he is also trying to start up a safari business with his dad and brother, who still live in s.a. My Dad and I are in, and possibly a friend of his. It would be nice to find another person or two, so I thought I'd ask here. Plane tickets are going to run around 2500 bucks for round trip, and the cost of the hunt will be less than say an elk hunt or something similar in the U.S. this will be a plains game hunt for me, I am not sure exactly what all is available if you want dangerous game. I plan on going after kudu, impala, springbok, and blesbock, and honestly, whatever else i can get tags for and find. gemsbock would be awesome to add as well.
this is just a preliminary 'who's interested' post. if i get any interest, i'll start giving you details as soon as i get them.
