Hey guys, I know I am not as big as the other guys, but I will do my best to get you the best prices locally here in Cleveland/Chattanooga, I know for some of you it is a drive, but some are right here in Cleveland, I will be more than happy to help you. As we grow we will be able to stock more things with the support of our local fisherman. I have found that I can match most prices out there and even the sales.

I went to Academy on Friday just cause I was in the area (Hamilton Place) and wanted to see if they had anything on sale. Ended up with four hook removers for 4 cents. Yes, they were 1 penny each. Why didn't I get all on the rack? Cause I figured when I got to the counter they'd not really be 1 penny. Hahaha...

As far as a big-box store goes they are ok. If you want personal service visit a locally owned tackle store, I know most all of them are thrilled to help a person. Im assuming you wanted 8/0 hooks for catfishing, your going to be hard pressed to find big-cat stuff at either Academy, Sportsmans does a decent job stocking that stuff though.

i havent had any problems at all with the hixson store, this past friday they had the g2 g loomis rods on sale 79.98 to 99.98 and needless to say i went home with two worm and jig rods,one 7 ft one 6.8ft and one 6.9 ft cranking rod. i will probally never come across that deal again.
as you all know these rods start retail at $190.00

guys,had a meeting with the store manager this morning and printed out all your problems and praises on this thread,He is on the same page as I am when it comes to customer service and this crap is gonna stop asap,I try to help as much as I can but only work on my off days from the county,feel free to call my cell # that is on the emergency contact list or call the store and ask for me personally,As with any business big or small we have bad eggs that work or own the business and if I don't know about it I cant fix it,Thanks for all ya'lls business and hope to see ya at the store
