Advice on reel?

Looking to get a new spincast reel for my 6 yr. old. The ones he has now has line retrieve of 12 in. per turn.I want something he`ll be able to fish spinnerbaits and crankbaits with.I found a abugarcia real with line retrieve of 24 in. which would work downside is it weighs 13.6 oz which could wear out a little fella pretty fast.Any of you have any experince with any reals like these?

If I rember right from last year, I don't think that little guy will wear down too much.

They have some pretty nice Daiwa spinning reels at soddy custom tackle for $10.99 each. I bought 2 yesterday for my boys to use this spring.

Im a fan of the Rhino spincasters.Im not sure of the speed.Theyre about as tough as it gets & i believe they come w/lifetime warranty.Might be a lil heavy.Just my $0.02.

IMHO spincasters are Junk.Get the kid a spinning outfit.6 is old enough to handle it.
