Anyone want to sell a Skeet Reese REVO?!

Good luck casting anything light with a revo. I had sx and stx models and sold all nine of them for curados. Revos are smooth and the ones I had all had great drags but they aren't easy to cast like curados. I have yet to have one fail either and I am hard on equipment.

I never had any problems with my SX's , they are made for heavier lure though. No finesse with those.

True Chris. I've been using my SX as a C-rig reel and it suits me just fine. Have to make more of a seep cast with the SX. Can't just rare back and sling it like the S

I can only speak from my personal experience. I have 9 curados of which 4 I bought used off ebay 4 years ago. I have not had any maintenance work on any of them. I have fished 50 lb braid on my Caroline Rig and used the trolling motor to break it loose. I accidentally left one outside in the rain for about a week. They have never failed.

I have 2 Revos one is less than a year old and the other is less than 2 years old. They are both broke.

I like it when the gears go cllllllllliccccccccccccccccckkk when i set the hook. Then the handle spins backward as a 6lber has its way with you. Never had a Curado do that.

Well I have a Revo S model that I cast a Juke(Zoom Super Fluke Jr.) WEIGHTLESS, I yank it and get 20 to 30 yards without over runs consistantly. I just sold a Citica 200e that cant do that, Im comparing them because of price.

My Revo SX is almost 2 years old, no problems. My 3 month old Winch is flawless and is absolutely the smoothest reel I've ever used, although my Shimano is great too.

I bought 2 new Pfleugers a couple years back and both of them got tight while reeling in the first time I used them. Turned out to be a level wind problem. Pfleuger sent you the part along with an instruction sheet. They were lower priced models but left me with a bad impression.

How each individual casts, along with rod type and line size, has a lot to do with lighter lure performance.

revo's suck. I have one and it makes a hideous racket every cast. I prefer the curado then the phlueger
