"Aris" has started it's winter meal special, 2 meals for $19.96.

emoThumbsup May be just as good that Aris by land is a little far for me from Ooltewah. emoHungry With the water low and boat traffic slow they have started their 2 meals for $19.96. If you have never eaten there I would suggest giving them a shot. I have never had anything bad there. Yesterday my better half and I made the drive around since she wanted to go to Northgate Maul also. I was sure glad we did. They have started that deal, it says it is for dinner but they also offer it for lunch. We both had their catfish fillet dinner with two sides. I had the house salad which she also did and for my second side I had a big baked potatoe loaded and she had the vegetable medley. We also had the appitizer of sweet fried onion rings. emoThumbsup Ended up pigging out and those meals are not light on the servings.

They never seem to be all that busy in the day for lunch this time of year. I am not sure about evenings since I do not go there then. You can still go by water and if you are out just for fun one day you can pull up to one of their piers and walk right in for lunch. They are closed on Mondays and open at 11:00 the rest of the week. I know this may sound like some ad for them but I am not in any way affiliated with them, I just like eating there and thought I would share the info. emoToast Jmax

I live about 1 to 2 miles from there and never go , there is a small store/bbq on the right there at the lake b4 you get there that has awesome food. A little place out of the way and man they know bbq (LAKESITE )....

SINCE WE ARE ON THE SUBJECT SOUTHERN BBQ ON THE LEFT JUST PAST THE ENTRANCE TO CHESTER FROST IS ALSO LIPSMAKING GOOD....

I second the little store at the lake in Lakesite. Its called Dockside and they have some awesome BBQ.
