In the last two weeks I have seen two dead armadillo,s in dalton ,one in westside and one on I-75 at the rockyface exit. I have seen dead one,s in floyd co. for about seven years, but these are the first I have seen in whitfield co. armadillo,s are know to carry leprosy. Has anyone else seen any?

I've been seeing them for the past couple yrs in whitfield and murray county. Mostly while deer huntin in murray county in the ballground area

I have seen them on the side of HWY 72 going to Guntersville. The first one I saw I passed it off as being half asleep, the second one I got out of the truck and walked over to it...yep it was indeed an Armadillo.

Whew...I thought you was talking about illegal aliens. I know they ain't none of them around...especially Dalton. emoScratch

About 40 years ago I saw one walking along Hwy 64 just east of Hwy 411. I figured it must have come off a produce truck or something.

What you guys are seeing is the most appropriate use of a Mexican Survival Kit. When you utilize this survival kit after finding yourself lost in the woods you take dillo out of the bag to eat while you are lost and you follow the other one you let out of the bag to the nearest highway.
