Bank fishing Chick today 3-16

Well, I been reading all you guys post and it got the best of me. I went back to one of my old haunts I use to fish yrs ago. I have not been crappie fishing in probably 6-8 yrs now.

I got lucky and caught probably a dozen but only kept 5 that would measure. One over 14 inches
Fishing Gitzits under a float, probably 3 foot deep around dead trees that run out into the lake. White/Chartruse and Black/Chartruse on 1/32 ounce Gitzit heads.
I didn't even get to the lake till after 3:30 this evening, so you guys who work till 4, mite have time to pack your rod in your truck and make a stop somewhere.
Cooked them up just a bit ago and the youngins sure liked um.
Reckon I am goin again day after day when I can and catch um till they quit running.

Way to go lone oak. Sounds like you had a nice day. I haven't got to go yet but I am gonna try to go next week if I can. Sure do miss getting to go. Keep up the good reports.
