Platinum Equity put 13 million in the bass boat plants to modernize them. I see Johnny Morris getting two state of the art plants and the modern equipment. Maybe he will consolidate the brands into these plants. Don't know all of the details but it's molds, how hard is it to lay two different molds from two different brands at the same time. Don't see anything going down hill, particularly Ranger. In fact, if one brand starts to have a manufacturing issue, it most likely will be corrected in all brands, it's in Johnny Morris best interest. Funny thing is two of the recreational boats bought by Platinum during the Genmar bankruptcy (Four Winns and Scarab), were bought by Irwin Jacobs...the guy who bankrupted Genmar.

More like goodbye Evinrude. Yamaha Skeeter isn't going anywhere. Johnny Morris hates Evinrudes and I think that the motor of choice for all BPS brands will be Mercs. You will have to custom order one from a dealer to get anything else on them.
