Hey TT and Bass Bullet. We saw you about 6pm coming under the wolftever bridge, we were in the white/burgandy triton. We then followed you to find your secret fishing hole (just kidding). Jmax was at woltever fishing also today. Hope y'all did well. We managed a 8.4lb bag (nothing to brag about).

my GOSH .. Tarheel you should have hollared!!! I remember seeing the boat .. but didn't realize who you were. BB and I were talking about it a couple times when we passed fishing boats ... wondering if they were CFF members. Guess I'm going to have to break down and get a tshirt .. make it my fishing uniform! 
Anyway ... the reason we scooted out under the bridge and popped up in the lake is because WHEN and his cousin were suppose to go fishing up by the nuclear plant. He said to come up and find him if we got out and he would definately show us the secret spots. Well we wasted the gas and searched every slough from Harrison Bay to Possum Creek .. couldn't find a blue/white Bullet with When and his cousin in it ANYWHERE! But probably did rasie a bunch a eyebrows as we cruised by and gawked at boats with 2 people in them using binoculars! I told BB next time we are going to have to get some accessories .. like walkie talkies and baseball caps so we look like we are official .. not just two girls out checking people with binoculars in the middle of the lake. So ... going to send WHEN a bill for the gas we wasted since he wasn't where he was suppose to be!
Fishing ... stunk! By the time we got done with our "search operation" it was getting late and we drove over to the secret spot ...
Mr. and Mrs. WhenWhy appear to have gotten a divorce and moved out! I can't blame her .. he was a lazy ole thing like BB said. Most their neighbors moved out too. We saw ONE catfish. The water was way down .. exposed the rock that Mrs. WhenWhy had choosen for a nursery. When we were at the secret spot Saturday ... the place was crawlin' with fish .. yesterday we didn't see a single sign that fish were ever there.
Needless to say we threw some plastics, I used a crank bait and rattle trap, just seeing if anything would bite but it didn't.
At 9:00 we left ... with a sick feeling because we are pretty sure Mr. WhenWhy did as his name sake, inticed us out for no good reason! Doubt we will see that fish again ... but we are hopeful the next fishing trip will be more successful.
Glad you all weren't empty handed ... but the fish in our spot have definately MOVED.

I was exactly where I said I would be at 8:30. (Actually around 8:00). Secret hole #2. Prior to that I was in Ware Branch and one more slough across the river from Ware.
By the way, secret hole #2 is juuussst about ready.

TT, you girls just didn't look hard enough last night for WHEN and his cousin. I acutally called to get a report from them after the kids' ballgame and 9 hole golf outing and they were there. I will wait on WHEN's report though.

OKAY OKAY .. it's my fault. I forgot the dang email when I left work (had printed it out) and BB hadn't read the copy I sent her because she was out knocking that white ball around.
So ... although I could remember the location directions ... I messed up on the time. We probably were leaving about the time you all were launchin'!
So I'll mark the gas bill I was going to send you paid in full ... apologize to all the boats that saw us gawkin' at them through binoculars ... and hope I get better at ALL the details not just some of them next time.
I was just SOOOOOO excited, as was BB, to get casually invited that I overlooked the time thing.
As they say .. we were all dressed up with no where to go!

That's ok. I have a sneaky hunch that secret hole #2 will be visited several times in the near future by none other than Why and myself. You will have more opportunities.
I will have one piece of advise. Look close for us. Why's boat seems to be invisible in this area, especially to boats over 40 ft in length, jet skis, pontoon boats, and bass boats travelling at speeds over 70 mph.

I have to admit .. the hour and a half we spent boating from the Tever to Possum Creek and back was very interesting! Checking sloughs and cruising by boats when we saw 2 people in them. Looking through the binoculars ... me first .. then BB ... back to me ... back to BB ... asking each other what does that boat say? What color is it? Does that guy look like When!?!?!?!
One set of boaters in a Bullet up in a slough tucked off behind some trees were fishing docks ... and we cruised in there and did the binocular thing ... they kept looking over at us ... we keep switching the glasses between the two of us and shared conversation such as this:
TT: No .. I don't know if that's a Bullet .. I can't read the lettering on the boat. (hands over binoculars) You try.
BB: Looks like a Bullet. Does it look black and white .. or blue and white? (hands over binoculars)
TT: WELL ... it could be black or blue .. hard to tell from here. But look at the short guy with no shirt on ... he's got hair on his face ... When didn't have a beard in the pictures on CFF! Do you think that's him? (handing over binoculars)
BB: I don't know I can't see his face. But he looks awful young too. Don't you think? (handing over binoculars)
TT: Yeah, well he does look young .. but he also looks a bit too skinny, What do you think? (handing over binoculars)
BB: Well .. I suppose that's not them.
TT: I think they are wondering what we are doing sitting here staring at them through binoculars. Maybe we should buzz over there and ask them if they have fishing licenses?
BB: Are you sure that boat isn't blue? (hands over binoculars)
TT: The carpet is purple! I can tell you that ..as for the boat .. I can't tell if it's black or blue. They keep looking over here, watch. (handing over binoculars)

I could just imagine the conversation in the "watched" boat. I'll bet you messed them up pretty good. It was probably one of the dogfight boats out of Pine Harbor.

There will be no mistaking my boat. It's so little, with me and WHEN in it , it will look like two elephants ridin a piss ant. That and it will be navy blue and say ALUMACRAFT.

Boys ... the way you talk!!! All I have got to say is if you were fish keepers ... the next thing you'd be laying on me is that the fish you catch are sooooo big .. that you have to swim along side your teenie blue and aluminum boat to bring it back to the dock to trailer it because if you and the fish were in it at the same time ... you'd be way over the weight limit!!!

He wanted to fish last night but has a problem with his NEW engine. Soemthing related to the prop he slung in Saturdays CBA so it is sitting in line to be looked at and HOPEFULLY will be back to him soon because there are 2 tourneys he wants to fish this weekend. Pay that much for an engine.... they should have been on it when they opened this morning!!! OptiMax's arent cheap!! It wasnt him but could be the next time
