Battery Charging Question...

I use a MinnKota onboard plug in charger. Plug it in when you get home and leave it till you go fishing. If it was to catch fire I am Ok since my boat is stored outside under a cover most of the time (or as it is right now stored in my brothers garage emoLaugh ) Noticed Wally world sells the Minnkota chargers and they had the single bank chargers on clearance in the Cleveland store.

I bought a Bass Pro Shops XPS 5/5/5 made by Pro Mariner last June while on vacation in Myrtle Beach. They had it on sale for $105.00 + tax. It seems to work great so far.

I have the Minn-Kota onboard battery charger also, it came with fuses on all the leads, it will pop the fuses before it will short out and burn anything up. This is a setup just like your house wiring, everything is on breakers or fuses.

HAD THE XPS 3BANK 5/5/5 CHARGER IT LASTED 14 MONTHS ON MY RANGER (12MONTH WARRANTY)CALLED THE PEOPLE AT PRO MARINER THEY SENT ME THE PRO MARINER PLUS AND PRORATED THE PRICE.. REAL NICE PEOPLE TO WORK WITH ....IT'S SELF MAINTAINING ..ONLY CHARGES THE BATTERY THAT NEEDS CHARGING AND HAS A TRICKLE MODE ...BUY ONE NOW TAKE BATTERIES HOME IF YOU HAVE TO AND CHARGE WITH THIS NEW CHARGER TILL YOU CAN GET IN THE NEW DIGGS ... THEN MOUNT IT THE BOAT
