Not a Restaurant, and only availible twice a year,but New Salem Baptist is going to be the best!!!!! We have had church fish fries for 40 years!!! We wanted to have a wild game dinner, but no wild game. Thats why we are having our Sportsman's Fish Fry. Fish, Hush-puppies, Fried Quartered Potatoes, Baked Beans, Cole Slaw, Desert, and Drinks.
Plus Great Fun and Fellowship for all!! Lots of prizes to give away. We also have a Bluegrass Band, and Clay Dyer will be our Guest Speaker. Ya'll come and bring the Kids. We have some good activities for them. Tickets are $10.00 and are going quick. emoHungry

They are still open and they are open Friday,Saturday and Sunday and it's still good

You guys need to get out more if a "fried fish" house is the best you can come up with.

Like Danny eludded to, a real Gulf Coast style seafood joint would make millions here. Take teh best of all the local places and still add lots more to it, then we are talking. Ah, such is life, I better head to the Gulf Coast to find a place now that Im hungry.

I ate there a few years ago and it was pretty good. I ate there today and it was pitiful. Absolute garbage. Shrimp not good, fries were like they were cooked in cold grease and the hush puppies tasted terrible and not cooked in the middle. I left half of it on my plate and didn't even get a to go box - first time I think I have ever left food on a plate. They did have good sweet tea but that was it.

If you want real fresh seafood you have to go to the coast, and I would never eat anything out of the Tennessee River!!!

Don't mind driving a little. Go above cleveland to Ocoee on Friday nites to Ocoee Dam Deli. All the catfish you can eat plus fixins. Sat nite is bluegrass nite. come eat and enjoy!!!!!!!!!!

Mount Vernon on South Broad street has good fish. My wife loves the seasame grouper, iI usually order the fish special there. Salmon different ways. Trout. good stuff
