His rump was even with the top of the hood of a Peugeot. That's all we know.

In the early 80's a friend was driving on the River Canyon/Mullins Cove Rd and a large cat landed on the road in front of her. She said it loped along in front of her for a ways and its rump was even with the hood.

She said it was "all legs". I have assumed it was a large Bobcat but who knows.

An old hunting buddy used to tell of a big cat crossing the road in the Southern edge of the Smokies whose tail was over the centerline of the road when its head was at the edge of the pavement. This was 40 years ago.

Well apparently there's some cougars in Soddy. You just have to chase them 50ft up a tree.

There's talk of a big cat sighting in Marion Co. I've seen two bobcats in the last year on Lamontville Road. One was close to the 58 Highway, and the other was on the I-75 end of Lamontville. Months apart, so it may be the same cat; wthfk? It/they were big.

There is a big cat somewhere near my house in Rinngold. Used to hear it all the time at night but we never did get to see it, just saw a paw prints... It wasn't a house cat by any means.

They are every where.. And black Bears have without a doubt moved west from the Smokies. We are seeing them regularly on trail cams and on the porch

A family member of mine in western kentucky said a couple months ago the neighbors had a horse killed. The local game warden came and told her it was a large cat. Two weeks later a mile and a half away a guy I've known for years had a cow killed. Same warden told him it was a large cat. I wonder if the Feds haven't secretly released cats to control deer population. This particular county also has no limit on does.

There was a pic of a big cat on a trail cam last week on facebook somewhere in TN. Not sure if it was real have any of you seen it and what is your opinion.

I've been seeing a 13 ft Sasquatch walking through the woods lately and he screams throughout the night and it always wakes us up! We have noticed all our jack links jerky missing too! Better hide your jerky guys
