Yeah I went back to my logs that I have recorded over the last few years and last year between March24-april 1st the areas i was fishing were 68-70 degrees and I was in shorts and a t-shirt the last couple days in march. Those same places have only gotten up to about 60-61 degrees. I hooked a bass at the mouth of a spawning ditch 3 weeks ago that looked to be 12lbs and it threw my dt 6. Well fast forward to the day before the actual cold front hit a couple days ago and I was fishing farther back in that ditch. My buddy drove by and started fishing even farther back, so I went over to talk to him. As he was telling me something, He hooked what he thought was a drum and it was a bass over 11lbs, his first over 10. The way the bass came up the first time was literally the exact way the big gun I hooked came up and slung my bait 3 weeks ago. I still go to bed seeing that image!!
