I have a 2002 Lexus RX300 and it is probably one of the best vechiles I have ever owned it has 147,000 miles and never had a problem

Can't agree more with statement above. Bought my daughter a 2001 Lexus RX300 after searching under "safest most dependable car" in 2006. It has been her daily driver through high school and now four years of college. No problems, quiet luxury, and safe. I was needing a more suitable tow vehicle for my small Alumnacraft bassboat than my 2007 Honda Civic. I searched again and ended up getting a 2002 AWD RX300. It has done great through the last snowy winters. Can't recommend these vehicles highly enough. Lexus allows you to search by VIN all service done on vehicle so buying used is not so much a blind search.

I'm afraid it's the price you pay after you purchase a BMW or Mercedes that costs you the most. The first car I purchased myself was a used lime green 1976 BMW 2002 sedan. I loved driving that car, but if it wasn't for Wayman Vickery servicing it and buying my parts wholesale through BMWCCA it would have cost me a fortune to keep it going. Bavarian Auto in Chattanooga I believe still have this vehicle to this day. I moved on to Hondas and now Lexus because they are cheaper to maintain.

Jim, you might want to check out the Honda CRV. We bought a new one from the dealer in Cleveland. We really like it.

Bought my wife a Grand Cherokee a year ago and she loves it, got it from Crown and they were good to deal with. She had a BMW X3 before that. It had a crappy, clunky transmission and I never was comfortable in it (I'm 6'2").

My wife wanted a BMW back in 2004 we had a Infinity but she was ---- bent on a BMW so we found one that she liked used 40,000 miles no warranty left what a piece of junk they are I worked on it and had it worked on for 8 years NEVER AGAIN I told her next time you say BMW it will have divorce papers with it long story short she has a Infinity FX35 now best car ever but I still won't own nothing but a FORD (196K) and no problems

I bought a Nissan Hardbody PU new in 1990, and sold it in 2012 with 275K. Wish I had kept it! I have a 1991 300ZXTT with 165k, and a 2012 Frontier. Guess you could say I'm not a Ford guy! LOL

My dad was walking me to school last week and told me when he was little grandpa used to walk him to school 6 miles every day. I looked up at dad and and said grandpa used to own a ford too huh...

Ended up with a Lexus RX 350. Hate to admit it but Lance (Beetlespin)was right. Met with them today at Lexus of Chattanooga and had a great experience. David Hicks (CBA and dad of one of the High School anglers) who some of you know was there and we talked fishing in between my better half buying it. ;) I think David is the New Car Manager there. They are great people and extremely polite and easy to deal with. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for that kind of ride. My better half is just about giddy over her new set of wheels.

The one they sold me was a program vehicle. It was new but had been used by the dealership to demo and run around in by the management. It only had 13,000 on it, still got all the same perks as a new one would have without any milage, got a 7 years 100,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty, 2.0% financing through Lexus (they actually still own it) emoBigsmile and they knocked $7,500.00 off the sticker price. I was very pleased with this deal and after searching the net I could not find anything close to this deal. emoToast Jmax

We just bought a 2002 Lexus rx300 from my stepson. My wife loves it. It is growing on me, I finally got her to get rid of her 2002 Olds silhouette. I have always been a GM man. I could never get a Ford to stay together. I LOVE my Dodge diesel truck. I did join the Lexus club, it is great.
