well i raised it till thetop of the gear case was to the pad and it did'nt do to good there and the rpm stayed right at 5500 the only thing i can figure is the timing is off and i might be wrong but it just wont change very much, i got all kind of lift on the boat now to the point it got scary for a moument so any ideas are still greatful oh and the speed still won't go over 55 stays more on 53 and 54
 
You may also check you linkages. The OMC carbs are able to go past WOT, so if he has the linkage set up wrong, you are actually on the floor and past full throttle and back to say 7/8 throttle. Would have to remove the air box cover and watch while someone pushes the throttle. Still should be more than that especially if you have the lower as High as I think is should at least be slipping more and more rpms. You swithcboxes should have a 5800 limiter in them. Did you check on the other engines???? Later!

P.S. did you get the emails with the timming info???
 
i have'nt had time to check on the other blocks yetand i took the hydro-foil off an i have no hole shot so i have got to put it back on
 
Was it blowing out or what???? That one sounds like would be a challange to "dial" in! Wish you were close. I like doing that kind of stuff, just take forever!!
 
i'll bring it to you if you think you can fix it and give me some idea on how much,my dad lives in red bank and i grew up in north chattanooga so it aint nothing for me to drive to up there and i could leave it with you if you think you might be able to figure it out
 
Just have top start with the basics. Timing, sync, fuel, compression, leakage, ect. I am about 40 Minutes north from red bank.
 
lol yea it's been awhile since i've been up there but if it would fix this headache of mine the drive would be so worth it
 
i know they was a guy who saw the foot on my boat and sait it looked like a bob somebodys design i know he wanted it for his but it would'nt fit
