Boat Ramp Status

As I understand as of today CFP, Holly Circle, Grass Hopper, Shull Island, and Tyner are still open. The Chick Dam, Wolftever, Booker T, HB, are closed. All TVA and state park ramps through out all of Tennessee are closed. On the river and Nickajack the RP, Lupton City, MC, and Shellmound are closed. Suck Creek, Serindino, Cave Lake and Sullivan's are open the last that I heard. If any of this is incorrect please advise. Like everything else going on there has been so much misinformation, changes and contradictions it's hard to keep an update.

So, Grasshopper Creek ramp is open? Bathroom closed. Have toilet seat, will travel.

It will stay open unless TWRA changes their mind and starts closing them. This is the main lake ramp, not the first one you come to on the left before the golf course. That one is high/dry.

I think you guys are missing the intention of closing the ramps. It is an effort to get people to stay home. Not to try and bunch up a couple of small ramps. If no one at your house has the virus and you stay home for a couple of weeks, you and your family should be safe. But heck what do I know. SMH

Since my wife has type II D, there is no way in hell I would take a chance infecting her by bringing home this wu flu communist crud that has invaded our country. I can wait until May 1 to hit the lake and by then it will be warm enough to night fish alone during the work week and have the whole lower end mostly to myself.

Anybody know if South Pittsburg Municipal Park is open? Or anywhere on north Guntersville?

It may have changed since Saturday but I put in Saturday at Marion County Park. It being a county park does not fall under the State or TVA closure order. Marion County may have decided to close it, I don't know. There is a number you can call to check. When I called on Friday they said they weren't taking any reservations for the camp ground but the ramp was open!

Marion County curfew starts tonight. 8pm to 5am.
