boat ramps

Any recommendations for boat ramps near the Watts Bar Dam on the Chickamauga side? Doesn't look like there are too many.

I know they talk about one parking lot where the buzzards eat rubber weatherstripping off vehicles.

There used to be one at the dam on the Chick side but I haven't been there in years.

I fish there sometimes and always use the one on the east side of the river about a mile below the dam.</p>

I just checked and it's 1 mile below the dam on the east side. It's a decent ramp and I've had no problems there. I always fish during the day though below the dam. Never been there at night.</p>

There's one about a mile below Watts Bar Dam on the east side an a couple near Cottonport. Cottonport is at an RV campground and is a little rough but very usable and safe (when I used it); the other is public a mile or so upstream from Cottonport on an east side creek. Both are accessible off the Decatur hwy.Not too hard to locate and not all that busy. Good luck!
