Had a great couple of days on Watts Bar with my grandpa. We got out there Thursday afternoon and Friday morning for a couple of hours each. I'll say this, the Watts Bar Crappie sure do like the taste of spinnerbaits. We both caught a few real nice crappie on spinnerbaits along with a few decent bass. We fished south of Kingston both days on the river. We caught fish on spinnerbaits, texas rigs, and carolina rigs. Depths from 2 - 15 ft deep. A lot of the fish were relating to wood. Water temps were 62-72 degrees depending on location.

Any of you bowfishermen need to get into the slough in Watts Bar becuase I've never seen carp so thick.

Thanks to Carl Guffey and JTF for some helpful tips!
