Day 1 Nick Figured with the frog bite being slow every one would run to the concrete, reckon we was right. So we decided to run mid river and hit some stuff we hadn't fooled with in a while in 5 ' to 15' few rang . We caught fish bare rock , fewer if there was any wood . Jigs and crankbaits was what they wanted. 20 to 25 fish caught running this pattern but alot of short large mouth. Day 2 Chick wasn't really looking forward to this one due to weather and water level being unstable for the last few weeks. Frog , punching ,and top water was nonexistent for us.But with the high flow we decided to go were found fish when the floodgates were open and ran those places 20 to 30 fow go figure , I wanted to catch them on a frog lol. Funny thing was fish didn't want to be near any rock or wood ,had to be some what slick bottom ????? Got me ????? Jig, shakey, and Carolina rig , crankbaits. Again alot of fish caught just no size . In the end we had enough for the win with 27 even. And for everyone thinking we had an easy year your mistaken its been a real grind , yall guys are tough to beat and are a wonderful group of guys to fish with.
