It started fast early in cave lake, we put 3 keepers in the boat about 16in a piece. Went to MCP and caught a couple more but not much. Went back out on the river and hit a rock pile and upgraded a couple ounces I also caught a 15 to 20lb drum that put a wooping on me and my spinning rod. We ran back to the lower end and did nothing. Back up river we went to another rock pile and Ronnie caught a nice one around 3. We were waiting on a boat to leave a spot on a river ledge. They finally left so we went there. Had the boat kind of parallel to ledge making cast diagonally to a waypoint and structure I had marked. I Hooked a good one that jumped at least 8 times and we finally landed it and it was BF of 5.40. I bet we caught 10 or 15 on this spot and we were culling ounces all in about a hour. We had a time on that spot, reminded me of Chickamauga. We fished there till the end. We finished 2nd with 11.56 I think. Congrats to Terry for the win.
