I still have some pretty nice racks that people just left here believe it or not. One of the many reasons I got out was that guys would bring deer and leave them and never come back. After several weeks I would let the meat go for the processing fee and I would just keep the rack.

I just put the 2 shoulders from Catfingers deer in the crock. I sprinkled Tony Chacheras seaoning on them, added some halved onions, and potaoes cut in 4ths. Salt and perper on the oninons and potatoes too. 2 Coors lights, and some water to top it off, and set the timer for 7 hours. What do you think?</p>

"2 shoulders from Catfingers deer in the crock"

Two in one crock pot? Huge crock pot or tiny deer?

My favorite crock pot recipe is put cube steak or chops in with sliced onions, bell pepppers and diced tomatoes. Add a can of tomato sauce. Great with rice, steamed cabbage and corn bread.

I love those baby deer - shot one today weighed 60 pounds live weight. Am hanging it now and will quarter it and cook roasts off it - should get two hind quarters, two sholder quarters and two or three tenderloin roast. Hard to beat - just like veal!
