I will drink a beer, but its not a requirement to have a good time. In the past on CFF...a person would plan an event and the event would be run according to that persons guidelines...whatever. If someone wants to have an event that includes alcohol-fine, attendance isn't mandatory. If someone else wants to plan an alcohol free family event-go right ahead, I would be happy to attend either if I can. But, I think when I fisrt read where Craig was planning this event I wasn't invisioning a bunch of kids running around.

If you guys think people dont drink at HBSP or CFSP your crazy. Just keep it in a solo cup and dont act like an idiot, everything will be fine.

Well said Flip, cheez, and Billy... oh and Team-D too. Cheez, you are a cookin/smokin genius, why don't you sponsor a family friendly/no alcohol one a month later? Besides, half of us that have not had the pleasure of eating your fine BBQ have a shot at getting their hands on some!
That would offer the one who would rather not be able to attend for a myriad of reasons to enjoy this type of event. There are a lot of new members that could then have two differing events.
Billy, well said. Text environment doesn't always show sarcasm, cute or fun comments. That's a good thing to point out to all on here from time to time.

NO body drinks beer at Bear Trace gold course either, since it is in the park. Yet every single trash can has one empty can in it by noon. emoLaugh

Interesting point Tyler, I always wondered. Even the golf courses that allow beer will only let you drink their name brand beer at 3 bucks a pop, but somehow the trash cans at every tee block are filled with Natty Ice and Keystone cans, Hmmmm ... emoScratch

Man, I'm new to this crowd, haven'y met any of you personally, but it seems like ya'll have some serious issues! What about people that want to smoke, swear or discuss their beliefs in religion? Are some jokes going to offend some people? If nobody is getting out of control just don't judge them if they are, help them find the light.

Craig,
I would LOVE to come to a campout. I will do "stealth" beer; it's kin to "lite" beer, but a little different. I'm not going to get involved in all the rhetoric - just set the date & let me know when to tell the boss I'm sick.
