Catfish at Burns Island 7-2-2006

We caught our skipjack early at Nickajack Dam. There wasn't any water moving at the Dam and the skipjack bite was tough. Once we had 8 in the cooler we ran down river to some deeper water. We fished in about 30-36 ft deep water and catfish bite was slower than the skipjack bite.

This trip was on Saturday, July 2nd. Nothing like that screwed up water flow schedule for us weekend morning anglers.
