CBA Classic ?

This doesnt pertain to who is going to win but what time are we going to be able to blast off with all of the fog we have had the past few mornings?

don't have a clue who but I will say 37.5-39.8lbs will take the two day total. With a big fish of 7.78lb big fish.

There is one thing for sure it is going to be an exciting weekend. This is going to be the biggest Classic payout in the history of the CBA. We are paying out over $52,000 in cash plus prizes. It has been an unbelievable year that was made possible by the support of our sponsors and the many people involved with making this season the best it could be. As of now we have 60 teams that are fishing this years classic and we will be paying 60 places.

Is that 60 cash paid places or prizes????

That is 60 places paid in cash. Everyone who has qualified and is fishing this weekend will leave with a check. Plus we also have alot of prizes to be given out.

We will have Benny Hull there recording the weigh-in courtesy of Sportsman's Warehouse. It would be great though to get our local news and paper more involved in covering such events. It is unbelievable at the economic impact fishing has on our local economy, but it seems to go unnoticed by the media.

Earl, CBA will be on This N That in 2010.

Maybe you could pull a few strings :) on some other stuff for us.

Its a shame.............Chattanooga, has the potential to hold some of the biggest Txs around, but local businessmen are too stupid to realize it. I thought we were all about Tourisim???????? THANK YOU to all the sponsors that donate time, money and prizes!</p>

Your Welcome!
And as a sponsor I'm proud to see the CBA being so successful. It seems the Classic is a really great event and great payout. As long as business holds up I will do it again next year!
Good Luck to everyone!

Well Billy, I'm glad to hear that from Pappy Welch! Someone will need to bring along some "show'n tell" and other illustrations for him. Don wouldn't know a casting rod from a pogo stick! But, by all means take the pub! {Love 'ya Don, but I'm speaking the truth hear}! If it's not a softball tx, {and I'm for all sports} Golf tx, rowing, or tennis, you can forget the print rags that we refer to as newspapers!! Dan Cook is a freak'in joke as an out door writer. He got lost about 30 years ago! Now all he can write about is Dr. Somebody up on Sugar Hill Mt. went and caught a trout 40 years ago in Alaska and now has pleasant memories looking back! Years ago, believe it or not, when Charles Searcy and the Times were in competition with the Free Press, "ol Dan would actually call up some of the Bass Clubs for fish'in reports to put in his column. Now he does good to write about the camp grounds and port a lets! If the stupid paper puts anything in their daily rag about fishing, it'll be that someone in Cleveland finished 42 place in a Tx on Loudan!? Won't say who is in the lead, or who won!? No follow up article, nothing! I've even read where they would print that someone was in 12 place and never say what lake or identify the Tx by name or who was leading! I've even called the idiots and pointed this out multiple times! They are very apologetic though! Bless their pointed little heads! Oh well, newspapers aren't going to be with much longer anyway! Maybe I shouldn't hack on them!

YEA I CAN REMEMBER WHEN U S 101 USED HELP SUPPORT THE C.B. A BACK IN THE GOOD OLD DAYS WITH BOBBY BYRD, BIG JOHN ,ED BICE AND EVEN SAMMY GEORGE WOULD SHOW UP BUT I GUESS SAMMY HAS GOT TO OLD TO FISH. IT WOULD BE GOOD TO GET U.S. 101 INVOLVED WITH THE C.B.A. AGAIN, JUST KIDING SAMMY. THANK DD22FISH emoThumbsup emoFish emoFish emoFish emoThumbsup

Has anyone approached the local media? Not taking up for them by any means, but they may not realize it is going on? On the other hand, they may. Just a thought.
