I think it will most likely come from nickajack but don't forget about right below watts bar dam. 23# will take it but you never know when somebody will get a really big fish say over 9# This is the right time of year for it. A 30# bag is possible because the big fish tend to gang up ,somebody stumbles on an early staging area it could be lights out in five casts!

i highly doubt it will take much more than 20 to win it. i think it will be won off chick and big fish of the tourney being a smallmouth

Yep and hasn't been back above 50 since last Monday. Makes a huge difference. Believe me if I was fishing the CBA I would have more confidence in Nickajack this time of year myself, but these 20 degree nights can flat shut down a grass bite.

No doubt on the 20 degree nights but remember the biggest thing we have been lacking to make those fish come up and bite is sun sun sun and we r getting that now so it will be interesting just because the water is 45 the fish will still pull up if the sun is out they r no differant than us they want to be warm to no matter what it takes
