We started up at the dam playing with schoolers and caught a non keeper smallie. That was about it for that bite, we switched over to to finesse worm and started catching a few. Around 11pm we ran down to then bend area of river trying to get our 3rd keeper with no luck. Stopped on spot on way back up, no luck either. So finished the night up at the dam. We were fortunate to catch four more keepers. the fourth one culled a spot that was a chunk. We ended up with 7lb and change, with all three being largemouth. I was surprised our weight, was good enough for the win. . We caught 20 or more bass but most were LM and smallies that didn't measure.
