went out on nickajack this morning wife has been wanting to go down there and i haven't been in a long time. started out running down river managed a good spot off some rocks on a spinner bait. we headed up to the dam around 10 and started on the left side saw a couple boats fishing spoons catching white bass. got up into position off the current. and the wife lost a couple fish then caught a white bass i stared throwing and crank bait and was wearing them out. put one on for the wife and she caught some more did catch a 20 inch striper and a 5lb smallmouth best smallmouth i have caught in a long time. left around 1130 with the stripe and 6 good white bass and i did put the smallie back it was a good day.
