CFF # 12 @ Sullivans, with Ben Boulware, 9/16/23

Fished the last tournament of the year, before the classic. Ben and I didn't have any clue on what to do. First off, My morning started with a flat on my pickup. We decided to go up on blast off. Stopped on a grass line and a few cast in, I hooked up on a frog, but it came pulled off in the grass. Started throwing SB on the edge and put 2 keeper spots in the box. Then Ben got our largest bass on a SP. Went on up river and and stopped on several spots, we caught several more LM and culled the spots out, and one of our LM. We had 6 keeper LM and several spots, we just couldnt get that big bite. Finished with 7.20 with 3 fish. Congrats to Mike and Dean on the win with over 8 lbs. I think we finished 3rd or 4th, not sure there. All things considered, we fished a bunch of new water we hadn't fished before and ended up having a decent day.

Had a flat one time on the way to a tournament and it sucks - good recovery though to you
