I was down on nick today fishing some but mostly running around checking the lake level and the currents. Once you get above mullians lake the current is equal to the river park/tail water area when they are running all 4 turbines. The water is at the top of the ramp at sullivans and the currents are absolutely slamming the ramp and dock. I had to throw a wake just to keep my boat moving upstream against it. Its going to make loading and unloading difficult to say the least border line hazardous. If there are no tournaments out of Marion county we should seriously consider using that ramp. We also need to hold the blast off until there is plenty of daylight. There are logs floating everywhere and once you go up river past bennett lake the current is so strong its pulling the cans down. There are just the tops of them showing or they are actually underwater. Don't need someone tearing a lower unit out on something like that.
