I was down on nick today fishing some but mostly running around checking the lake level and the currents. Once you get above mullians lake the current is equal to the river park/tail water area when they are running all 4 turbines. The water is at the top of the ramp at sullivans and the currents are absolutely slamming the ramp and dock. I had to throw a wake just to keep my boat moving upstream against it. Its going to make loading and unloading difficult to say the least border line hazardous. If there are no tournaments out of Marion county we should seriously consider using that ramp. We also need to hold the blast off until there is plenty of daylight. There are logs floating everywhere and once you go up river past bennett lake the current is so strong its pulling the cans down. There are just the tops of them showing or they are actually underwater. Don't need someone tearing a lower unit out on something like that.

I put in at Serindion's Saturday and had no problem. There was about 15 boat trailers already parked when I got there form the HS Tx. over at MCP. There were 172 boats in the Tx.! I did not go up past Mullin's Cove. There was a lot of crap in the water! I drove down to Sullivan's Thursday afternoon and it looked fine at that time but who knows? If you want to move to Serindino's that's fine with me. If so we need to tell everyone to go down I 24 to Hale Town and get off to go to Serindino's. The old hwy down from Sullivan's is a mess. About half of it has been washed away!

That sucks for me that’s the way I go to Sullivan’s. I am going down wed an fish I will let y’all know what I see.

My fear about MCP is they have a weekly tournament there that normally feels up the parking lot, which is terrible to start with.

Me and Ray went down today. The river below Mullins cove ain’t bad some wood and trash. Didn’t go far past Mullins cove the current was rippin so fast no way to fish. My opinion anyway Mullins cove down was ok.i think we need to go to seridino or Down by the dam.

Let’s move it to serindinos, I appears from a few reports that the issue is going to loading you boat with the current moving that quick

That's fine with me but if we do we have got to hurry! We would need to tell everyone to launch and get their boat in the water and not sit in the parking lot! Remember what happened last time?

The other reason I hated to change it...the usual whiners of the group come out and complain because they are not close to their two spots up by the dam.

Serodino was brutal a short while ago. Looks like they dropped the water. The margin of error is really small.

Lol let them cry we have to do what’s best for everyone else.

we should put in the rules that all tournament committee decisions come with a box of tissue and a big helping of shut up and fish
