I agree keep the schedule as long as we can get in at the park. Have we settled on a back up plan just incase? Maybe HBSP if need be?

We shouldn’t need a back up plan as of now if we show up an someone else is there we will have to fish there together.
Yeah, it never hurts to look into a backup plan, if everyone kinda want to just have an idea of what would be best. But it looks like we're good to go at this point. I also just got confirmation on their Facebook page that it was the tournament scheduled for the riverpark now moved to Shellmound

Only other concern is high water. We could wait and if we have to move up the road to Chick Dam.
Earl mentioned earlier it looks like the flow may be dropping (or at least that's how I took it to mean). And it really wasn't terrible high Sunday afternoon when I was down there, so I really feel that shouldn't be an issue. It is Chattanooga however, and who knows what the weather will do. I'm good with that backup plan. The dam would be a good fit I would think. I'm still in favor of announcing a backup plan early to let people now it's possible. It'll give us the most possible time to change if need be. Probably need to do that stinks thing in the morning if we do

Here is my suggestion. We can make an announcement that as of now we plan to stay at the Rivepark until we see that we would not be able to use it. If that happens, we can look at Rivermont, or move it to Chickamauga Dam since it is in such close proximity.

Tva still has the dam spilling at 80k and projected to be that way thru Thursday but with no more rain set to come to the area they may start closing spillways and slowing the flow for the weekend. Guess we're just in wait and see mode for now.
Just got off the phone with the lady from City of Chattanooga parks Dept. She said there is no way to reserve the park(Rivermont). She said the park opens sunrise to sunset, no definite time, but she would say they are usually open by 6. I would say the best bet if we want to use it, someone sit by the park and meet whoever opens the gate and ask if they can open early.....

I drove by there today and the ramp is closed. TVA is showing 88,000 cfw per sec. projected for the next two days. I have fished it like this many times but I just don't know about everyone else? With the High Schools moving down to the Nick I would rather not go down there. Do we wait and see another day or go ahead and move up to the Chick? If move to the Chick why not just flip flop our dates and locations and fish out of HB. Then on the 24th go to the RP? I think that is our best, simplest and safest choice. If a majority of you agrees then Patrick can post it and get it over with now and let the bitch'in begin! My That is my vote anyway!

I have also been on the river when the dam is spilling and it can get pretty hairy. If someone has a mechanical problem or break down it could turn into a big problem even if they are down river from the dam. I agree with earl about swapping the dates if we have to move to chic this weekend then we'll go back to the river on the 24th
I know moving may be the only option, however it sounds like there are 2 big tourneys going out of CFP, that benefit tourney and the NGA high school. May be a crowded lake. I think we need to wait as long as possible somehow to decide that.

I don’t think it’s going to get any better at river park with the water above chick. I think we need to swap also to chick an go to river park 24th.i don’t want to change it to lower end but we can’t do anything about the weather or water. Everyone should understand
