Jmax - 12/10/2014 8:29 AM Looks good guys, thanks for all the work that goes into these. emoThumbsup Now if folks will just not take these too serious, not take a little ribbing too serious, not act like they are fishing for the Bass Masters Classic, fish the ones they want and let the others fish the ones they don't, enjoy the fellowship and have a good time, we will all have a great year. emoToast Jmax P.S. Will someone please knock our running AOTY out of that spot in 2015. I will not name any names (Leonard), but it is time for a new one. emoBigsmile emoPoke Jmax

Why are you guys not fishing Guntersville ? that's a great lake, 1/10 the boat traffic that Chickamauga has and loaded with big fish and it's in our back yard. Top anglers from around the country travel 100's of miles to fish this great lake and a few guys complain about who knows what and the whole CFF caves and no more Guntersville. I get it that some don't want to travel and spend the extra coin but just to stop going altogether, I don't get that.

You're beating a dead horse on this one Jig the Chatt Fishing Forum has proven to be for just Chatt anglers.
Yeah the Gunny attendance has been down along with ALL of the CFF tournys-way down!
It's not necessary to pre fish and spend the travel money if you know a couple holes-and the out of state license is $49 not 60.
So-forget Gunny and fish the limited area they give you-it's still pretty fun.

Yep I know . Seems like the cff is just practice for the cba . I better be nice before I piss off the whole bunch.

emoScratch I believe there is a group outta Mud Creek every Sat AM, go down & join them & tell'em about the CFFrs that wanna stay in Tn area. I'm sure they would let you participate............ emoGeezer emoUSA

Im sure the guys who want to fish the big G wouldn't fish the CFF in all tourneys , so I understand the reason for keeping it on the Nick And Chick, but I would like to see more out of Sullivans rather than Shellmound and MCP. MCP has limited parking and usually have dogfights there every Saturday. Sullivans is pretty much in the middle of lake and gives everyone the option to go up or downriver.

Sullivans has the location but it is limited parking as well. It only takes one other tournament to be there with us and your screwed. emoBang I like the middle idea too. We have had issues there before and the parking really became a problem. At least at Shellmound and MCP if you had to launch some where else you can and then just boat over. Another place we have never had a tournament but appears to be big enough without others being an issue is the TVA Pump Station ramp. Not too far from Sullivans and has a decent size ramp parking location. Just an FYI. emoAngel Jmax

I've always wondered why no tournaments out if raccoon mtn ramp. I figured it was a TVA deal. Not a very big dock but plenty of parking. That Sullivan's ramp needs some work and no where to tie up either. I've heard someone is trying to buy all of that lot including the store and fix it up. I plan on fishing these next year with my son, sounds good to me with low entry fees and 3 fish limits.

I THINK JIM HAS A GREAT IDEAL THAT WOULD BE A GREAT RAMP, PARKING AND MID WAY OF THE LAKE AND YOU DONT HAVE TO DRIVE ALL THE WAY TO JASPER TO PUT IN. DD22FISH emoThumbsup

In reply to that-I beleive the ramp and the store are two different properties. As far as the ramp, that's Tva's- and Randall (Sullivan) told me last week that they'd been out there surveying the ramp for improvements-but that was awhile ago.
Thanks though to Bruce Day for re-striping the parking lot out of his own pocket. You have a great Dad Carter! emoToast
As far as Randall selling- haven't heard a word. He did mention leasing it to a lifelong local that wanted to turn it into a bbq joint.
But yeah-either way-that ramp is terrible, especially in low water.
