We decided for cff #6 we were going for broke by not fishing on the banks and concentrated on offshore stuff. About 3 hrs in we were really starting to question our thought process because we didn't have a fish. I lost a big fish off a point on the river that we never seen but knew it was a hoss. Finally wound up down river on a old rock pile we fish in the summer and Steven Finally gets a big one to the boat that went 5.50lb . Thought we might load the boat there but that was it. Moved three more times and wound up on a road bed where I caught one about 3 lbs. on crankbait. Moved about 3 or 4 more times and stopped on a channel marker and Steven catches our last fish and our third keeper . Finished up with right at 10lbs for first and 5.50 big fish. Can't believe we won with that. Two fish including big fish caught on crankbait and last keeper caught on a jig.
