The committee members have voted and we will be having our 2010 Classic on Chickamauga out of Chester Frost Park. Hope all of you are able to fish the required number of tournaments so that you can join us for the Classic! Remember, the Classic will be double entry fees as well as double payouts! Hope to see y'all there!!

well there goes my wish. I was hoping we could have it at the carp pond at lake winnie and we'd all have to use popcorn and floaters as bait. emoBang

Just kidding, sounds good to me. I'm looking forward to fishing some more of these this year but so far I've been on-call for everyone you've had. Crossing my fingers and toes for the next one emoLaugh

After yesterday I dont even know if Antman and I wanna qualify for the Classic, rough day for us, I heard some people smacked em though. We will see. I will get working on the shirts. Thanks

October isnt any easier to fish Chick, but I dont mind it. Sometimes those grind out a limit tournaments can be fun . My wish is to have a two day tournament with a cut after day one. That would make everyone work thier tail off. Just sounds like fun to me.

elwestb - 3/9/2010 10:52 AM ... interesting, two day Tx with a cut line! Oct. could be tough on the Chick though!?

It would be very tough on Chick., but on tournaments like that ya just never know who is going to get em. That's what makes it exciting to me. I just like competing weather it's a grind out a limit tournament or it's a total wack fest where everyone is catching them. In the fall I rarely even fish Chick, just because I love frog fishing so I will honestly have no clue where to catch em on Chick, but I'm still up for it. The two day thing is just me thinking out loud.

Im all for being able to lock through in most cases, but if no other tournament allows it, then the same rules should apply to the classic.

Chickamauga in September could be a little tough.

It's in Oct, but thats beside the point.
Fish don't run on a calender, look at what happened on Gunt in Feb when it's supposed to be on fire!
Ya'll know that what kinda summer we have is gonna dictate what the fall bite's gonna be like.
