i like foodsavers original idea BEFORE EVERYONE HACKED IT UP. "OK LETS TAKE AWAY THE BEER AND YA KNOW WHAT I DON'T LIKE CAMPING SO LETS HAVE IT AT SIZZELER IN SOUTH PITTSBURGH AND I'M BRINGING THE ENTIRE FAMILY". i'm all for the beer and smokers and camping. all the other requests sound like the cff family picnick to me. good idea foodsaver

Foodsaver, I hope you get more interest in this cookout/camping trip than the christmas party this year, over 3000 members and only a handfull of interest. I mentioned the park in Kimball because it is free, you will have all day and night, it won't cost you a thing. If you settle on a place and time post it and I will be there. I would like to learn all I can about BBQing and this outing would be just the thing.

I camp and fish and drink a few beers at various times in the summer. I know some great spots where you can do both and not be bothered. I appreciate the idea of both a dry event and a non-dry event, but they need to be two separate events. Maybe the ones that like to drink beer and Jagermister can do our thing, and then we can have a non dry event as well. Another idea is I will bring this up when I am going camping and whoever wants to join me can. Here is how I like my camping events: relaxing, fishing, fire, No Guns, No arguements, just good times. Swimming also when the water is warm.

i'm in i would love to meet some of you i dont drink or cook but the wife is the best i have ever seen she can make a old boot taste good i would like a family friendly event also i have 4 childern from 4 to 16

Sounds like a good time, if/when it happens I'll try to make it if things work out. Definitely need to throw in a little fishing of some sort and I'm definitely game for a cold one (or two) afterwards while the bbqs are burning...

In the past at the picnics has anyone gotten out of hand? I see all these negative posts about alcohol, but to my knowledge no one has gotten ignorant or drank enough to be a problem. As long as its adults doing the drinking and nobody is driving its all in fun. I will be putting this on the calendar shortly and hope everyone joins us for a good time
