Great job adapting to the Covid pandemic, on the run. Enjoyed the abreivated season. Only disapointment was the last May tourney going to nights. Thanks to the committe for a job well done.
I wanted to fish some of them but too many night tournaments. I know it was a C-19s fault, but there were hardly any daytime txs around here this summer.
did a great job i thought. would like to see a spring time day tournament on nickajack and the day time tournaments go to 3pm like normal tournaments. weve already committed the day, lets fish that extra hour.
Don't have a horse in this race anymore but I would like to thank everyone for doing such a better job when anglers were in the money on posting their trip!!! emoWorthy Being here in Arkansas your posts are the closest thing I have to being there. emoBigsmile Jmax
I don’t have as much tourney experience as most of you all do; but I like the format a lot. Exactly the way it is. Well run trail, IMO. I enjoy the hell out of it.
emoBang emoEnforce Hey, no gripes here, too old to complain. emoToast emoApplause Good job everyone, just glad we were able to ha participation with out any known problems..crept Bass decided to do a no show for last month or so emoBadLanguage emoFish , we will getcha next year...stay safe... emoGeezer emoUSA
I think we should reduce the number of Emojis that Jerry has access to.
Seriously, great meeting you guys and fishing with you. Overall I like the format, I agree with fishing until 3PM on the day tourneys. I fished a club trail several years ago where you had to fish 7 to qualify for the championship and they took your best for the points, not much different, but it lets people miss a few tourneys and still be part of the race. Not against the night tourneys (other than the long drive to fish on Friday nights) and really enjoy them. I appreciate the tourney committee and all that made it happen.
I really have no complaints except the fish not biting. I think you fellows do a great job and need to be thanked for it. I'm not a big fan anymore of night tournaments because of not being set up for them and being a old fart don't help either. All though I think you have it set up the best way you can for all. Some wants days, some want nights and some don't care, will fish either. The way it is you can fish either or all and still qualify for the classic. Again THANKS TO ALL THAT HELPS PUT THIS ON EVERY YEAR!!!!????????
I like what the CBA did by having only 2 night events with 2 throw-away's. Their attendance is much better. CFF has too many night events. There should be a day tx in early June and late august. Classic qualification and AOY should be based on 'best 7'. This way if a person that can't night fish still has a chance for classic and AOY. 3PM WEIGH-IN'S!. If it were up to me I'd make them 4PM. And lastly, eliminate big spot and big smallie. Should only be one big fish prize regardless of species.
Add a couple more lakes or s
At least one more. And more day tournaments. And start them in mid January. And only have one big fish pot. And if we fish at the river park have a big smallmouth pot for A additional $5 a boat. But you don’t have to put in the pot if you don’t want to be in it. And the tournament committee does a great job. Either way I still happy.
I think everything was well run and enjoyed the ones I got to fish. I personally enjoyed the night tournaments. I dont like fishing when it's to hot to breathe. But I'm old and fat. LOL
