Ronnie and had a great game plan but that was about all. I told Ronnie yesterday morning that it was going to be a very tough day and it certainly was for us. The wind was bad enough for most of the day coming out of the north east. Some places we just could not fish. And then the fish just wouldn't' cooperate either! I had three actual bites all day. One on a shakey head that I missed, one short fish on a stick worm, and one keeper on a frog. I did have two others that blew up behind my frog but never touched it? We fished grass, ledges, humps, points, pockets and coves. We punched grass and threw shakey heads, spinner baits, chatter baits, top waters, frogs and Senkos. I thought Ronnie was going to have a stroke before the day ended. He never had the first bite all day!? We wound up with one keeper just shy of 3 lbs. for our efforts. Congrats to Todd Driver and David Holder on the win and big fish just over 5 lbs. Also congrats to Mr. Brian Elder for wrapping up the Angler of the Year points race. It was a very tight race between about five different anglers this year. I don't know how many lead changes there was during the year but there were several. So once again congrats to Brian on the year.
