CFF SWAP MEET CONFIRMATION

Chattanooga Fishing Forum

Help Support Chattanooga Fishing Forum:

I was disappointed very much in the amount of vendors who showed up and a bit ashamed to settle up with the site management after I had boasted about the Thousands of dedicated Fishermen who follow CFF. HOWEVER, There is a Silver Lining. the Site management said they had noticed an increase in Buyers overall and several had made positive comments about those Fishermen who were selling the good deals.. She was actually very pleased and offered an Open invitation to schedule such an event as I should desire anytime and as often as I should desire. So to summarize the First CFF Swap Meet, The Customers were absolutely Happy with the High quality Fishing gear we were offering, The site management noticed a Greater Customer turnout and for certain the Vendors who actually did show up were in what I could gather were elated in the amounts of Cash the customers were showering us with. I suppose the Only ones who lost today were those who had considering coming out and for whatever reason failed to Show up. If you measured a good day by Cash, You can say we all had many Hundreds of reasons to be grateful.. Thanks to all who came out to sell, Thanks to all who came out for the bargains and Thanks to all who supported the Idea of the First CFF Swap Meet. LL

just got back from this and let me tell y'all is was a piss poor turn out.i saw two people that i new from the CFF there.sure was a lot of talk about it for it to be that poor of a turn out.thanks earl for coming by.

I believe there were 7 sellers total with at least one that wasn't on here. To the ones that didn't show up I say thanks for the lack of competition.

I cleared 500, I Ain't Sad at all. And giving away free lures and ridiculous Cheap prices, I still did Great.

I too was shocked at the low turn out of sellers but was pleased with the number of buyers. I sold a lot of lures and soft plastics dirt cheap and and came home with hundreds of dollars.

Crtay - 5/8/2018 5:41 PM Are you planning on having another meet soon

I would like to give Kickerfish an opportunity in the near future to plan the Next one. I was Not aware he was planning an event such as the One I scheduled from last Fall to be held the First Sunday in May. I did not mean to overshadow his attempts and possibly offend him ..

Encourage Kickerfish to plan something.. I assure you it could be much larger than the First.

This event prospered ALL who sold and everyone who saved money on Great Deals. Plus the Location management where the event was held felt this Swap Meet increased the customers overall for their business as an indirect benefit. I have a standing invitation from the Business property where the First one was held.

Many in recent discussions do not realize how long I have been making efforts to find a "Legal" and appropriate Location for a CFF Swap meet. This one was back in 2012. There have been several that Crashed and Burned because of Finding a Location.

My only goal was for their to BE a fishing swap meet. As a student, new father, employee and fisherman, I lack the free time I would need to devote to this type of thing. I think you did a fine job and Im not going to try to top it. You are more than welcome to throw more meets sir. Hopefully I can make the next one!

I did not know all those details about you Sir. Honestly when you and I were talking about this, I felt as if I had offended you personally. That is absolutely something I would never do intentionally. I was attempting to make things right between us. But thanks to your explanation you just posted. I see you are a very fortunate young man with the most special things in building your family.

I will plan another Swap Meet. I would like very much for to come out and join us. LL
