polo-dog I reread what I posted and I don`t see any reference to you or any thing you said...I just wanted to make sure anybody who read my post was aware that while the gps is a great tool that it is not nearly as accurate as some people think it is...my low- 332c is one of the latest models out and they all have basically the same components and use the same satelites...before I mounted mine on the boat I mounted it on my truck and used to take a 8000 mi 25 day tour of the west in june and learned how inaccurate they can be..... and also how great it is to have on a trip like that.......I just thought what I posted might keep somebody from running into the bank or a buoy...or heaven forbid another boater. But since you brought it up... how about doing us other boaters a favor ...mount a siren on your boat and turn it on the next time you decide to "go all out" looking at your gps and hoping there ain`t another boat out there...at least maybe we can hear you coming and get out of your way..Ain`t nothing worse than sitting in the fog wondering if your fixing to get run over..and yeah we`ll be" lookin out for you "

Sorry SNUFFY, I was trying to add a little humor and I guess that I overstated when I said I "run all out", anyway I thought that "I`D BE REAL CAREFUL ABOUT RUNNING BLIND IN FOG...30FT.. MUCH LESS A 100FT CAN BE DISASTEROUS" was refering to what I had said and so please forgive me if that wasn't. I am in favor of responsible boating, fog or no fog.

NO PROBLEM POLO DOG ... NAHH I WASN`T TRYING TO IMPLY ANYTHING.....I JUST GATHER FROM SOME OF THESE POSTS THAT WE HAVE A LOT OF YOUNG GUYS ON HERE...AND REMEMBERING MY YOUTH I WASN`T REAL BIG ABOUT READING INSTRUCTIONS... YOU KNOW ...JUST TURN IT ON AND LEARN AS YOU GO......JUST WANTED TO MAKE SURE THEY KNEW ABOUT THE ACCURACY (OR LACK OF IT) BEFORE SOMEBODY MAYBE GOT HURT...YOU CAN BE FAIRLY CONFIDENT IN THE MIDDLE OF A 3/4 MILE RIVER CHANNEL AND I `LL EASE ALONG SOMETIMES LIKE THAT ...BUT WHEN I STOP I STILL HAVE TO BREAK THE" PUCKER" SEAL JUST TO GET OUT OF THE SEAT.emoThumbsup

Bullet changed the seats this year to a more comfy looking and updated style.I checked the price to retrofit my boat....You don't even want to know what they cost. They are VERY proud of the new design!

Thanks for the info guys..I'll check out BULLET forums and see if anyone has any for sale. I like the new cockpit seats, but you're right. I'm afraid to ask the cost. I'll just be happy to find "one" that matches since I'm a cheap ass anyway. :)

I agree with SNUFFY that GPS's are not all that accurate and most of the time lose signal with the sattelites. I use mine for fishing spots and mph and that's it. Thanks again!

no problem polo. No harm foul. I just wanted to make it clear that I'm not a dumbass..well maybe sometimes I am, but that's not the point emoScratch emoCool
