polo-dog I reread what I posted and I don`t see any reference to you or any thing you said...I just wanted to make sure anybody who read my post was aware that while the gps is a great tool that it is not nearly as accurate as some people think it is...my low- 332c is one of the latest models out and they all have basically the same components and use the same satelites...before I mounted mine on the boat I mounted it on my truck and used to take a 8000 mi 25 day tour of the west in june and learned how inaccurate they can be..... and also how great it is to have on a trip like that.......I just thought what I posted might keep somebody from running into the bank or a buoy...or heaven forbid another boater. But since you brought it up... how about doing us other boaters a favor ...mount a siren on your boat and turn it on the next time you decide to "go all out" looking at your gps and hoping there ain`t another boat out there...at least maybe we can hear you coming and get out of your way..Ain`t nothing worse than sitting in the fog wondering if your fixing to get run over..and yeah we`ll be" lookin out for you "
