TR20bh, tell Eric from me and his buddy, my son, Ryan, we both said CONGRATS!!!!emoParty Ryan thinks very highly of Eric, he is a keeper himself. Ryan told me to tell him that is a GOOD! look'en fish. It is great to see another father and son out on the lake. Those are what life time memories are made of.emoThumbsup Jmax

Thanks, RR. Actually my tilt & trim was still on the fritz but them 2 strong young'uns of mine make pretty good tilt units. I only take them to lift my motor & then he goes & catches a hawg like that.emoLaugh

Polo, we definitely need to get together soon. I hope I can get some time to plan a trip with you. Thanks for the congrats. I'm really proud of Eric. He's a great young man & I like nothing better than getting to spend time outdoors with my family. I believe God makes those times the most precious times of life. I know lipping that bass & high-fiving Eric I'll value for the rest of my life!

I know what you mean TR20bh, I'm not looking forward to the empty nest that will happen in the next few years. We're sort of in the same boat you know. What year is Eric? My youngest is a JR in HS. It's too bad that I've lost contact with you over the years. Life is too busy you know? God has richly blessed us with great families and he'll continue to bless us but change is hard for an old "dog" like me. Give me a call and we'll get together next week hopefully.

Polo,
Eric is a Jr., too, so the empty nest is staring us right in the face. Email me if you get an afternoon free next week & let's meet up. If you can let me know the day before I can usually get away in the PM.

emoDoh...beat mine by an ounce! The Chick is definitely producing some hefty bass lately. What an awesome moment to be able to share with your son! You will be able to relive that one for many years to come.

Amen, Jason, I've been blessed to catch some decent fish over the years but getting to see Eric catch this fish is one of the most exciting things I've had in 40+ yrs. of fishing. I'll never forget the look on his face when she came out of the water the 1st time.
