Child support and the state of TN

Ok I dont know if anyone here receives child support in the state of TN but my EX wife is supposed to be paying but she aint. Does any one have any experience with the State of TN dept of human resources web site?

If they get took back to court and don't pay, the judge will put you in the greybar hotel in a new york minute. I had a neighbor who went thru this.

Yea that is the problem I have now. She is in Tennessee and we live in Bama. It took for ever just to get them to find out where she lives.

Given what you said about her in the other post I think you should just go it alone rather than have anymore exposure to her. That's what I would do.

Thats exactly what a decent lawyer would tell you too. I went through the exact thing you did and I mean they are VERY similiar!! I retained Selma Patty's office and got custody. My divorce and custody cost me alittle over 20 grand.</p>

Let her go her way and dont go after the money. </p>

They won't extradite for child support anymore but they will lock her back up if she ever gets to ala and they find out about it. You can talk to your DA down your way and find out what can be done.

If I am correct if she is in TN and has a drivers license it will be suspend for failure to pay child support and her wages will be garneshed if she has a job. I have stopped numerous people and ran their DL and it was suspended for failure to pay.
