Thanks but I'll be fishing the BITE event on Chick that day. Anyone know of a good brand of scales that are acurate and last? between me and my neighbor, we have caught 2 real nice fish and dont really have a clue what they weigh. The fish usually weigh heavy this time of year, but their bellies make them look like 12lbers. I'm just comparing that fish to the ones I caught this time last year? here's a 5.96 and 7.72 compared to today's fish. Pics are not a good measure either!

that fish looks better than 7 to me.....congrats... my neighbor landed an 8.10 today..... i cant wait to get out there tomorrow..... the big girls are eatin!!!!!!

I use the X-Tools scales:

Easy to hook onto the fish... it grips the lip instead of trying to hang the fish on a hook and hoping it doesn't flop off and into the water. Seems to be accurate and definitely easier to use than the normark and rapala. It only goes to 25LBS though.

Nice fat fish! By the way, I'll second the X-Tools scale. I've had mine for several years and wouldnt be caught without it. I really love the way it holds the fish, I dont like the "hook" types.
